Practice Ice
Practice ice is on Wednesday, October 7, from 2:00 to 9:00 PM.
One hour per team to start. To book, email info@cashspiel.com with your team name and preferred time.
Second hours open Monday, October 5. Any slots still open then can be booked by teams for a second hour.
Your time shows on your team page once it's scheduled, as well as on the Practice Ice schedule.
The schedule also shows when the ice crew will pebble and nip between sessions. Requests are handled in the order they come in — if we're a little behind on the inbox, bear with us.
Help us make the St. Paul Cash Spiel a great experience for visiting teams and fans.
We still have a few volunteer shifts available throughout the weekend. Volunteers are needed to update scores on CurlingZone and serve as Club Hosts—welcoming teams, answering questions, helping with odd jobs as needed, and sharing information about the club, neighborhood, and St. Paul.
Sign up for an open shift and be part of the event.
Donate to the Kyle Satrom Junior Bonspiel Prize Table
Each year, St. Paul hosts the Kyle Satrom Junior Bonspiel. Every junior curler is entered in a prize raffle that's included in their entry fee — nothing extra to buy — and every junior goes home with something.
If your team has something fun to give, we'd love to add it to the prize table. Past teams have donated:
Old jerseys and team gear
Signed merchandise
Hats and T-shirts
Broom head covers
Other curling memorabilia
There's no obligation at all, but these are a big hit with the kids — and a great way for them to connect with the teams they watched compete at the Cash Spiel.
Staying in St. Paul for the Cash Spiel? Our partner hotel, Holiday Inn St. Paul Downtown, is offering special event rates October 7–12, including an especially good deal for Saturday night.
