We collect only what we need to run the bonspiel, and we do not sell your personal information.

When you register a team or join our mailing list, we collect the information you provide: team and skip name, the names of roster members, email address, mobile phone number, club, and region. We also keep records related to your registration status and communications with you. For event operations, organizers may enter their own mobile numbers to receive administrative alerts.

We use your information to process and confirm registrations, manage the draw and field, communicate with you about the event, send transactional and administrative notifications, and improve how we run the bonspiel. We do not use your information for third-party advertising.

4. Text Messaging (SMS)

If you provide a mobile number and opt in, we may send you SMS text messages related to the event — for example, registration and administrative notifications. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, and you can reply HELP for assistance.

We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile opt-in data is used solely to deliver the messages described above.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information with service providers that help us operate the event — such as our email, SMS, and customer-relationship (CRM) providers — to the extent needed to perform those services on our behalf. We may also share limited team and contact information (such as team name and email address) with event partners and sanctioning bodies, including the Grand Slam of Curling and the World Curling Tour, for purposes such as championship berth eligibility, tour rankings, and event-related communications. However, we do not share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in information with any third party — including event partners — for their own marketing or promotional purposes; mobile opt-in data is used solely to deliver the messages described in Section 4.

We retain registration and event records for as long as needed to operate the event and its historical archive, and as required for legitimate business or legal purposes. We take reasonable measures to protect your information, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

7. Your Choices

You may unsubscribe from marketing email at any time using the link in those messages, opt out of SMS by replying STOP, and request that we access, correct, or delete your personal information by contacting us at info@cashspiel.com. Some records may be retained where required for legal or legitimate operational reasons.

8. Children's Privacy

The event and this site are directed to adults and competitive curling teams. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
