1. Event Overview
St. Paul Cash Spiel(the “Event”) is a competitive cash bonspiel and World Curling Tour satellite event held October 8–11, 2026 at Saint Paul Curling Club, Saint Paul, Minnesota. The champion of each division earns an automatic berth to the next eligible Grand Slam of Curling. By registering a team you agree to these Terms & Conditions in full.
2. Eligibility
The Event is open to competitive curling teams from any club or region. All team members must be in good standing with their respective curling association. The organizing committee reserves the right to decline any registration at its sole discretion.
3. Registration
Application to the Event requires two registrations, both completed before the application deadline: (a) registration on CurlingZone, so that the team's WCF World Team Ranking points are available to the Organizing Committee for selection; and (b) submission of the official application form at cashspiel.com/register, providing the team's roster, contact details, and agreement to these Terms.
Submission does not guarantee a spot in the draw. Teams will be notified by email once their registration is confirmed. Entry fees and payment details will be communicated at the time of confirmation.
4. Draw Format
The Event features separate Men's and Women's draws, each limited to 24 teams. The format, schedule, and prize structure will be distributed to confirmed teams in advance of the event. The organizing committee reserves the right to modify the draw format in response to team availability or ice conditions.
5. Conduct
All participants are expected to conduct themselves in accordance with the spirit of curling and the rules of the World Curling Tour. The organizing committee may remove any team or individual from the Event for unsportsmanlike conduct, without refund.
6. Liability Waiver
Participation in St. Paul Cash Spiel is voluntary and at each participant's own risk. By registering, participants release and hold harmless the Event organizers, sponsors, volunteers, and Saint Paul Curling Club (and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents) from any and all claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of or in connection with participation in the Event, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, and travel-related losses.
Participants are responsible for obtaining any health, travel, or equipment insurance they deem appropriate. The Event organizers do not provide insurance coverage for participants.
7. Media & Photography
The Event may be photographed or filmed for promotional purposes. By participating, you grant the organizers a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use your likeness in connection with the Event.
8. Changes & Cancellation
The organizing committee reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the Event due to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, venue closures, or public health emergencies. In the event of cancellation by the organizers, registered teams will be notified and entry fees addressed on a case-by-case basis.
